My Adult Teeth Grew Behind My Baby Teeth
Posted by writeradmin
I am sixteen years old and have a real problem. My baby teeth are still in my mouth but my adult teeth have grown in behind them. I don’t know what to do and I feel absolutely ridiculous and hate my smile. Is there any solution for it?

Dear Adeline,
Have you been under the care of a pediatric dentist as you were growing up? If so, they have not been giving you the care you need. What you need is a pediatric dentist who looks out for their patients instead of just going through the motions and collecting their fees. These are the best dentists.
I’m not sure how your dentist let it get this far. He or she was taught how to deal with situations like this. When adult teeth are erupting but the baby teeth are not coming loose as they should, then your pediatric dentist should have extracted the baby teeth. He didn’t do that and now you’re stuck with teeth that have erupted and are out of place. The good news is there is a solution to this, but it will require orthodontics.
Start by having your baby teeth removed. Then, you’ll need to have the teeth straightened. Truthfully, even if they teeth were removed when they should have been, it would not have been a guarantee that you would not need to straighten them, but the chances would have been better.
